I was VERY lucky to find MFS Photography when I did an online inquiry of photographers in the Hampton, VA area. I submitted a price quote for some digital photographs (several group and some candid shots) to be taken at our family reunion during the 4th of July weekend. MFS Photography had the most reasonable rates so I accepted the quote. He contacted me before the event and was very professional and personable. He went out to the site (we had reserved an event room at a Hampton Inn) before the event to check out the environment. He called me to let me know that the room as it was set up would not be big enough to take group shots for the total number of people we were expecting and recommended an exterior location for the (everyone included) shots. On the day of the event he arrived early. What surprised me the most was that he pitched in and helped us transport things from our cars to the event room. So he not only photographed us, but he helped us with some of our busy work. That was so unexpected, welcomed and highly appreciated. He stayed with us longer than the couple of hours that he had promised. The next day, in spite of the fact that he was doing a wedding, he delivered the digital photos as promised. Our family enjoyed having Michael with us on the first day of our event. I wish I had found him earlier and been able to engage him for all three days. Everyone should hire mrs viki as an event photographer. I hired her to capture my 21st birthday at a hotel. She was extremely patient and understanding when I arrived late to the venue. I had a small meltdown that resulted in a great turnaround because of her fun personality and genuineness. I booked her from 8:30 to 10:30pm and we had a blast. She was well prepared by bringing a variety of backdrops and using different materials. She has many great ideas and is an excellent professional to highlight your event. Dave did portrait photos for about 2 hours. Everything went well because though there were some hits and misses which is normal, he was willing to work with me in obtaining the best possible shots available. I would recommend him highly to others and would definitely work with him again.
