We contracted with BHS Contracting to remodel our kitchen which included hardwood floors, cabinets, granite counters, lighting, and painting. We also had a new floor installed in the washer/dryer area and downstairs bathroom. Both rooms were also painted. The bathroom cabinet was replaced as well as the toilet. The entire project was completed in two weeks...right on time I might add. The personal time spent by one of the owners of BHS Contracting was unexpected but sincerely appreciated. BHS Contracting was the right company at the right time for the job. It was like having an experienced family member looking out for our best interests. Any problems we had, which were minor in most cases, were communicated with Barbara Smith and immediately resolved with her sub contractor crew. Except for some unforeseen floor damage in the bathroom, the final price was as agreed. Would I use them again???? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Working with Barbara was one of the most satisfying experiences I have ever had! Our church was in bad shape, and had been for years. We needed roof-repair, outside repair, a/c work had to be done, and even termites were found behind the walls in my study. Barbara and her team of experts, made what was potentially disheartening and stressful, easy. She was professional at all times, but a stickler to perfection and getting the job done in a reasonable time span. I would use her again for any contracting needs, and would recommend her to small businesses on a budget, and homeowners as well. She really does look out for the client as if it's her own family! Thanks Barbara!

Barbara Smith helped my wife and I with the selection and installation of a new kitchen. The job was performed in Smithfield,Va, The entire job only took two weeks which include the rip-out and installation. I was impressed how professional everyone was from Barbara down to the cabinet installer. The job was finished on time and i could have not ask for any better quality of craftmanship. I don`t think any other company could did a better job. Note: I was impressed that she took time to come out to the job site every day to check progress.
