- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $200 for basic obedience, $250-$300 for behavior modification, depending on the severity of the issue, $190 for canine good citizen training, $100 for socialization, $30 per session for trouble shooting and $0 for consultations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a consultation and meet and greet, we discuss training needs, training goals and I evaluate the dog(s) in question. We then set an appointment to start training and continue with training for 6-8 weeks based on the individual dog's training needs. Once all goals are met, then the dog is reevaluated and further training is discussed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Animal Behavior College for dog training, spent 4 months working under the guidance of a mentor trainer and spent a little over two years working as a dog trainer for Petco, after successfully completing their training course.
