We had a phenomenal experience from start to finish with DJ West Entertainment for our United Way Halloween Dance. Westley was a pleasure to work with, and was quick in communicating prior to the event. The students loved his style, music choice, and how he got involved on the dance floor with the students. Light show was an excellent effect as well in our cafeteria! We highly recommend DJ West Entertainment for your event!

DJ Daeus was an excellent choice for our wedding and reception. He DJ'ed our ceremony and reception in Virginia Beach. The ceremony was about an hour, and the reception was about 6 hours total. DJ Daeus came early to set up. We were really impressed with all of his equipment (lighting, trusses, speakers, etc.) which was all very high quality and in excellent condition. DJ Daeus was so helpful in helping to set up not only his own equipment, but the reception area as well. He was a major resource in keeping the bride (me) stress-free! He also set up a personalized Photo Booth for us which was a big hit at the reception! DJ Daeus was extremely timely and prompt, he made all the the wedding festivities flow smoothly from one event to the next. His lively personality quickly got everyone involved on the dance floor! He did a great job of incorporating our personal playlist into the song rotation. Our dinner music was a perfect blend of mellow and romantic. He was very confident about everything and definitely made me feel secure that he knows what he's doing-- and he definitely delivered! I would recommend DJ Daeus for any event! We have used his services twice now, and both times he did an amazing job! He definitely goes above and beyond to make everything special!

I got married last year and Trevor was my DJ for the wedding and reception and I could not have picked a better DJ! I was told no one really dances during afternoon receptions but he had everyone up and dancing intill it was time to leave. His charismatic personality kept everyone involved and having a blast. If I ever need a DJ for an event again he will be the only person I will go to.

Julie is absolutely amazing with children. Her fun and bubbly personality is contagious, and made for an easy and sweet photo session. While she is lighthearted and engaging, she is also a complete professional. We were able to view our gallery of photos in little time, and her site is extremely easy to navigate through. Hampton Roads DJ is the one you need to call if you want people to be enjoying your wedding reception or party. He will have everyone on the dance floor all night. What is a photo booth rental?

A party photo booth is a fun, interactive experience where guests can take a series of photos (usually three or four) that are immediately printed out on a strip as a keepsake. When you rent a party photo booth, the company sets up the booth or photo station at your event; a photographer staffs the booth and coaches guests on how to use it throughout the event. Often the photo booth rental company provides props like silly hats, wigs and glasses. There are different types of party photo booth rentals. An open-air booth has a curtain or backdrop that allows more freedom of movement and enables more people to use it at one time. The traditional enclosed photo booths that you may have seen at the mall or the fair tend to cost more to rent, as they are harder to transport and also cost more for the pros to purchase. What is in a party bus?

A party bus can be a fun and safe way to transport a group of people to or from an event. A party bus can be anything from a retrofitted school bus complete with disco lights, to an upscale shuttle service, to a stretch Hummer with a full bar. What is inside a party bus depends on the company you hire and what you are looking for. Many party buses have bars in them, complete with glassware, ice bins and mini fridges. Often party buses have festive lighting like strobe lights, black lights, dimmable lighting and track lighting on the floor. A party bus usually has loudspeakers in the back for en route dancing and may even have a dancing pole in the center. Some states require seat belts in party buses and decree that all passengers must be seated when the vehicles are moving, so there must be a seat for each passenger. To make sure you know what you are paying for, request photos of the inside and outside of the exact vehicle you are hiring. Also make sure you have all fees and details of what is and is not covered in a written contract.

How much do you tip for a party bus?

When you rent a party bus, it’s industry standard to tip the driver 15 percent to 20 percent of the rental cost. Some rental companies include a gratuity for the driver as a line item on the bill, while others leave tipping to the discretion of the passengers. Often party bus drivers are employees of the rental company, and are not seeing most of the money you paid to hire the ride for the night. You should consider the tip as a standard part of your total party bus price. The job of the party bus driver is to keep you and the other passengers safe, ensure your comfort, and get you to your destinations on time (barring outside factors like weather or unpredicted traffic).
