Fan Installation

John was very quick to respond to my request for someone that could install two ceiling fans. He also timely responded to follow up questions regarding the job and was able to schedule time to complete the work in under a week. He was punctual and professional throughout the install process and the fans look and work great!!!

Lighting Installation

Mr. Brown was an ideal contractor for my home project. From the beginning he was very responsive and always communicating with me to ensure his work was to my satisfaction. We talked on a daily basis before, during, and after his work. I really appreciated that he would take me through what he was doing and get my feedback to make sure he was doing exactly what I wanted. Showing up to work early and with a smile on his face made working with John a pleasure and I couldn't be happier with what he did. What originally started as wanting to put some recessed lighting in expanded into a bigger project after deciding I wanted more done. Thankfully John adapted to my several requests and completed the work efficiently without taking away from the quality of work being done. I don't look forward to any issues in my home, but I do hope to work with John again and should I ever need a project done, he will be the first person I call! Thank you Mr. Brown!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All my pricing is based on Nation Average pricing index. My business bitsbrij.com is licensed with the city of Norfolk, the state of Virginia, and the Federal tax IRS. I am insured up to 2,000,000.00 and I invest in all the best and latest tools available to help me accomplish my work efficiently and effectively. I advertise and my prices are honest fair prices to give me a personal salary pay my taxes and make a profit to help my business grow. I am not a cheap contractor because I am so precise in my work. I am a perfectionist. The quality of my work far exceeds the type of work I do sometimes. The quality of my work speaks for itself.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It is very important to take advantage of technology and have a few snapshots of the work you need done. That way I can discuss with you over the phone a few things about the snapshots and then I can come out and give a fair and honest estimate. Pictures can help myself out and the client. I can actually see what they are talking about as opposed to them attempting to explain WHAT..HOW and WHERE they need something built mounted or installed. Plenty of times I have been on the phone with a client looking at their photos and I have pointed out things that they didnt even realize. and also from a contractors point of view on things that can or can't be done according to local and state safety codes. This is my best advice to anyone looking to hire me.. PLEASE HAVE A FEW SNAPSHOTS.. even if it's just to hang up a book shelf.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have passed the Virginia contractor's " CLASS C" 8 hour contractors training class and have recieved my certificate from them.. copies available at request of any client.
