Introduction: Due to my training: Certified in: Primary Yoga, Stability Ball, Pilates, Circuit training, H2O Fitness, Silver Sneakers Classic, Stability, and Core and Functional Fitness...and experience, I am able to offer an individualized plan to meet your personal needs. I have experience working with beginners, (my favorite population) and those with experience. I like to offer a variety of formats and often combine several. I will cheer you on, not tear you down. Safety is one of my primary concerns. I love learning and actively stay up to date by learning new formats, exercises and developing new unique routines. It is such a pleasure to work with people who are ready for healthy changes at all levels. I love being a part of such a positive experience in the lives of my clients. Seeing a client go from little to no activity to getting hooked on the exercise high and gaining strength, endurance, better health, self esteem, agility, flexibility and balance is the most rewarding.

I'm happy to review my experience with Linda Schoorens, my Fitness Trainer. I can truly say this is one of the best things that have happened to me. It’s been 2 years since I joined the Silver Sneakers Fitness Program. This is the first time I’ve ever been involved in a fitness program, and motivated enough to continue this regiment because it leads to good health and longevity of life as evidenced by my boost in energy, weight loss and increased flexibility. Ms. Schoorens is caring, patient, and willing to give individual help and encouragement. She prepares each session in a different manner, while incorporating various games, making our sessions interesting and fun. She studies and shares updated material that promotes healthier bodies through diet and exercising. In addition to our body workouts, we are also challenged to exercise our brains and memory as well. I feel our classes should actually be called “holistic classes”, because Linda works with us from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet and to the tips of our fingers. I’m continuing to learn more about my body through her knowledge and training. Mrs. Schoorens' classes are The Best Ever! She’s a “God Sent” trainer for me and to everyone in our group! We are fortunate and blessed she came to Richmond, Virginia."

Linda is a great resource for personal fitness and exercise information. She is encouraging, listened to my specific needs, and inspires me to pursue a healthy lifestyle. I definitely recommend her for one on one training.
