- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most social events, we charge a flat rate for event planning & design services in addition to your proposed budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive a request, we schedule a initial consultation within 48 hours of the request. The consult will cover the event basics that you have already locked down, general information about the client and the event. We cover budget and fees as well. If the client is ready to have an awesome event, they submit a retainer fee and we proceed with the event design and proposal.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out being that person that hosted all the events, from Thanksgiving Dinner to the Family Reunion, I was always the one raising my hand to be in charge of planning. From there, my friends and family started to call on me to plan and host there events. After doing that for a few years, I decided to make it official. That's when Posh Parties was born.
