FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote for a set number of finished photos, but I'm always happy to add more processed shots at very reasonable prices. I can order physical prints, but you don't have to buy prints from me. The images you pay for are yours and you can have prints made at Walgreens or post them anywhere you wish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone chat so I can get an idea of what kind of shoot we'll be having and what my client is looking for; in the studio, outside, creative lighting, etc. If the location is somewhere I haven't been, such as a client's home, I'll likely ask if I can stop by for 5 minutes to take some light meter readings and get a feel for the space. After that I'll email some tips on wardrobe, etc, and might ask for a simple selfie and snapshot of what you plan to wear so I can match a background and pick the best lighting setup. Eliminating surprises helps focus on the creative aspects and ensures the shoot will run smoothly.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with models, entrepreneurs, kids, teens, graduates, couples, families, corporations and Santa Clause just to name a few. :)
