FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All Sessions include a creative fee that covers the time and talent of the photographer and an online viewing gallery. The creative fee does not include digital files or products. You may decide what images you would like to purchase once you view your gallery! For personal sessions (family, maternity, engagement, etc.) a creative fee of $150 covers a one hour session. I will process as many great images as we can create for your gallery, and you will be able to decide what you would like to purchase after viewing them. Most of my work is performed at a location of our mutual choice, but a studio can also be procured and may incur an extra fee. Other session fees are: Boudoir sessions: $350 creative fee (this covers the cost of renting a private studio as well as creative time). Private floral bath sessions: $500 (This covers studio location, time for set up and break down, and the cost of purchasing or foraging fresh flowers for your session.) Session add-ons like dry ice fog, Black Bath water additives, or milk bath ingredients are an additional $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client has decided to hire me, I prefer to chat with them before their session in order to get a sense of who they are, and their personality, since that is a big part of what I strive to portray in their images. This meeting gives us a chance to plan our session according to what they want to DO with their images and gives me a chance to answer any questions or hesitations the client may have. On the day of your session, we'll have plenty of fun. My sessions tend to be pretty light humored and easy-going (fart jokes for kid laughs included).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for Grad Images capturing both candid and posed graduation images since 2007. I also photographed for Bella Baby Photography, capturing newborn portraits in-hospital. I have been creating portraits since 2002, and documenting weddings since 2005. I have spent years practicing and investing in this craft, and the images of my portfolio can attest to that more than these words ever could. :-)
