Introduction: Why should you hire me for your writing and editing needs? Though I am new to thumbtack (as you can see by my very sparse profile,) I have written and edited literally thousands of articles, white papers, press releases, and manuscripts. At the risk of sounding immodest, my work is impeccable (as are my references.) I have never had a client who was not thoroughly satisfied with my work. Ever. And I'm not talking about after the fourth or fifth draft or re-write. I mean with the very first draft. That's right. I am a stickler for excellence — and harder on myself more than anyone else. I've been accused of being a perfectionist when it comes to my work. My response? Yep, sure am. That's my job — to perfect my writing or someone else's. I tell folks that if you're a writer and editor and aren't striving for perfection each time, you're in the wrong line of work. It sounds corny and cliche, but the creative process is what I like most about my job.
