I first contacted Bruce for help cleaning up my books and assisting in payroll and taxes for my small service company. After experiencing some unforeseen circumstances, my accounting priorities took a bit of a back seat, however Bruce stayed in contact and check up with me periodically and I’m very much looking forward to beginning business with him because already he has shown me his innate ability to stay on top of my book keeping even when I myself allow it to fall onto the back burner. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is based on the level of service required and the estimated amount of time it is going to take to complete the service. For example a 1040 itemized return with one state return is going to cost less than a 1040 itemized return with one state, 5 rental properties and 10 investments. A bookkeeping client who wants me to take care of their payroll needs can expect to pay more than someone who does not have a payroll.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down and have a conversation with my new client. I want to make sure I understand their business inside and out, so we can better determine the best way for me to assist them in being successful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA in Accounting and have been an accountant/bookkeeper since 2000, Since I have spent most of my career helping small business, I have the unique ability to create cost effective solutions so they can compete with their much bigger competitors. I am also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor
