- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our programs are reasonably priced. There are some places that are more expensive and some that maybe less. Our private lessons are $75 per lesson (approx 1hr) and our board and train programs are 2, 3, or 4 weeks. $2,180 (2weeks), $3,180 (3 weeks), $4,180 (4 weeks). All programs include the Ecollar (valued at $300-$400). I also promise to be there after the training is done to help you with any questions you might have!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process usually begins with building a bond with each pup. Once that bond is established, then we begin teaching the basic commands one at a time with treats and praise and positive reinforcement. Once the basic commands are established we will begin weaning the dogs off of the treats and transitioning to the Ecollar for correction. All of our training has a balance if we use the E collar for correction, we follow that up with praise when they do what is asked of them. The goal is to create a pattern so that the dog understands good and bad behavior. We don’t want to make the dog do something…we want to encourage them to make the right choice!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Spent many years teaching and training then spent a year under a master dog trainer and I have personally trained a variety of different dogs and temperaments as well as trained other people to work with dogs. I guarantee my training, and I have not had one pup fail their turnover exam.
