Becca came to my home, designed and updated my kitchen with new paint, tile and wall art. I was looking for a reasonable way to update my kitchen without a whole remodel. It is amazing what she was able to do. It looks like a whole new kitchen. Quite the value!Jan 14, 2020
I hired Becca for my parents new place. Not only was she communicative, friendly, and very knowledgeable, but she went above and beyond meeting our vision. All of her ideas were more than we could imagine, her taste is impeccable and I highly recommend hiring her for your next project! Thank you for all your help Becca, we love the new place!Jul 13, 2020
Becca is seriously the best of the best. She is on time, extremely reliable, and she went above and beyond to meet my needs. She's very clean & organized & gets the job done promptly. Will def be hiring her again for some more jobs!Jan 17, 2020
Becca was amazing. Her response time was expeditious. She helped pick out a whole new living room for me with my exact style at a good price as well! And she was so sweet and down to earth!Jan 14, 2020
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and 4+ years of hands-on experience in the field including both residential, restaurant, and hotel design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My road to Interior Design is actually pretty comical. While I was growing up, like many others in Interior Design I watched much more HGTV than Disney. I would pull out all of the stuff to play barbies with my sisters and quickly lose interest after setting up all of the houses. However, since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a fighter pilot. That is why when I originally applied to college I chose Kent State University for their aviation program, but to my dismay it wasn’t an option in the drop down list of majors online. I figured that once I was accepted I would ask them if I could switch majors. Then the letter came in the mail stating that I was accepted specifically into the Interior Design program alongside a small number of people around the country. This seemed to be an honor so I figured I would try it out. That ended up being my fate as I met my very best friends and instantly fell in love with the program and bettering spaces for large numbers of people. Maybe one day I will chase down that pilot’s license, or design my own plane, but for now this is what I love!
