FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $50.00 per hour. The total cost is based on the amount of time needed to complete your project, which can vary depending on the size, condition, and level of organization required. For decluttering projects, the amount of time can also depend heavily on the customer’s decision-making process. Since you are deciding what you want to keep, donate, discard, or relocate, the time spent sorting through your belongings is part of the overall project time. I like to discuss the project in advance so we can review your goals, expectations, and estimated time before getting started. Photos of the space are very helpful and allow me to better understand the scope of the project and provide a more accurate estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning what you would like help with and which areas are most important to you. I usually ask for a few photos so I can better understand the space and estimate the time needed. Once we discuss your goals, schedule, and expectations, we set a date and I arrive ready to work. I personally handle the project from beginning to end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Organizing is an honest-to-goodness skill that comes naturally to me. I have more than 20 years of hands-on experience creating functional, organized spaces and finding practical ways to make everyday areas work better. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong eye for how to sort, arrange, simplify, and improve a space based on how it is actually used. I also bring years of professional experience in customer service, office management, coordination, scheduling, and problem solving, which helps me stay organized, communicate clearly, and manage each project from start to finish.
