A. The most common type of job I do for my clients is recording and mixing. I wish there was more mastering involved but not everyone is completely versed in how important getting your work mastered is yet.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. My advice to a customer in the market for sound design, production, or mixing and mastering is to know what you want and how you want it to sound when it is complete. My job is to be creative and and use my expertise but ultimately it is my goal to have the finished product exactly how you imagined.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. A secret to success in engineering or production is to never stop learning. Always strive to stay ahead of the game and keep your skills polished. I try to learn something new in my field every day.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Will you be able to exceed my expectations? If you are asking me that question, the answer is YES.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out because I put my heart and soul into every clients work. I don't want to put my name on something I'm not proud of, whether it is my type of music or not.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love meeting new artists and seeing how excited they get when they take an idea in their head or from their notebook, get in the studio and make it a finished product that we both are stoked on.
