If you live in the Hampton Roads area and need a competent and reliable tax professional, but do not want to pay inflated commercial fees, then go see Paul Allen at PIM Tax Services, LLC. Paul handled mine, and another family members complex tax returns from multiple states. He was professional, available, knowledgeable, but most importantly, he was more than fair on the price. Paul is a former service member and well experienced in dealing with our military members tax returns. As a military member myself, I found that Paul also empathizes with our budget and TIME constraints. If you go to one of the many commercial tax services that only come around during tax season, be prepared to pay a lot of money for a impersonal, hurried experience. This is the exact opposite with Paul. At PIM Tax Services, you will get a one-on-one consultation with honestly assessed charges, and Paul will make himself available to fit into your schedule. I found Paul on thumbtack, and he was quick to reply with pertinent questions that both helped him assess how complicated my return would be, and helped me weed through the tax professionals that were only after my cash!.... Strangely enough, Paul actually enjoys the intricacies of the tax structure, so I was happy I found him. I met with him, provided my documents through his secure and user-friendly process, corresponded with him over email a few times, signed my forms, and got my returns. It was that easy! Do yourself a favor and at least give Paul Allen a call or email. You will find that he will make the stresses of tax season easy on your mind and wallet. We will be using Paul for as long as he is in business!

I had a complicated tax return. I have an MBA and I usually do them myself. This years taxes included filling jointly, the sale of a house in San Diego, a side business with all kinds of expenses, renters, and the regular job. Price was excellent and he knows the laws. Outstanding job Paul!

Money is a highly personal issue. I like to take some time to get to know a client and determine their reason for seeking help from me before beginning to process forms.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Old Dominion University. All 3 Enrolled Agent Exams administered by the IRS.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Individuals. Lots of military families. Small business. (Schedule C and Form 1065 Partnerships) Landlords. Lots and lots of Landlords!
