Introduction: I feel that my work stands apart from others mostly because of my carpentry skills, knowing level, plumb and square are an essential part of the trade, I also went to college (trade school) as a draftsman, and majored in math. my job is similiar to an artist, and the most rewarding part of my job is making people feel like they made the right decision by using my service, have never not been paid, and that should say alot.

not complicated, by sq. ft.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
there are lots of new products in my field like grouts( epoxy, urethane,etc.) there are probably 30 - 50 makers of laminate floors, but there are not many ways to learn of the products except for media, and i have no problem asking fellow floor guys.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
dad is retired contractor, born into it started work at 12 during summers.
