They made moving simple, which, as someone who has moved on average once a year their entire life and hates it, it was simple. I had decided to hire movers to make it a very simple process and it was.

I recently used WB Movers to move my belongings from Waynesboro to Staunton, VA, and I couldn’t be happier with their service! The team was professional, punctual, and handled everything with care. They were efficient, friendly, and made what could have been a stressful day completely smooth. I highly recommend WB Movers to anyone looking for reliable and hardworking movers. Thank you for making my move so easy!

WB Movers showed up on time on a Sunday to disassemble, move, and reassemble it on same day. They were quick, accurate, explained clearly throughout the process. They were professional, witty, and a pair of excellent movers. I will be hiring them again when I need a Grand Piano moved and even when we move into our next house. Highly recommended for all your moving needs - larger or small.

Carlton and his team (both in the office and during the move) were phenomenal. Everybody we worked with was kind, professional, and responsive. Most importantly, they were very, very good at moving huge furniture!
We had to move a large dresser and table through narrow halls and up and down stairs, and it was as though the furniture floated from one house to the other, without every touching a wall, a stair, or the ground.
Just awesome. Thanks, WB!
Details: 1-2 items • Other furniture items • 31 - 50 miles • Stairs to load items • No change in floors to unload items

WB Moversmoved our son from his current apartment and they were awesome to work with! All his furniture was padded and packed up and treated gently. Where he is living now has some tight corners and narrow stairs but they were able to move everything in with ease. Highly recommend :)

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We operate on a guaranteed, all-inclusive flat-rate model rather than an open-ended hourly clock. While Thumbtack displays an hourly baseline, our actual quotes provide full cost certainty—meaning no hidden mileage surcharges, travel fees, or clock-stretching.
For full residential moves, standard household equipment, upright pianos, and heavy safes are bundled directly into your flat rate with $0 specialty surcharges. Our flat rates factor in your home size, access layout (stairs or long walks), and route distance so you know your exact total before move day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our booking process is fast, transparent, and completed directly through Thumbtack:
Immediate Ballpark: We review your move specs and provide a realistic rate band.
Detail Confirmation: You confirm pickup/drop-off locations, access layout (stairs/walks), and any disassembly needs.
Guaranteed Flat Quote: Our quote coordinator sends a firm, binding proposal.
Reservation & Lock-In: You review our simple digital service agreement and secure your date with a scaled reservation deposit ($50–$350), which is fully credited toward your final balance upon completion.
We maintain dedicated buffer windows between scheduled moves to ensure prompt arrival every time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Active in residential moving and specialty transport since 2012, our crews are trained in heavy rigging, safe transit balance, and professional furniture wrapping. We utilize dedicated moving vehicle and alternate configurations equipped with heavy-duty moving blankets, bands, floor protection, and specialized dollies to handle everything from antique armoires to heavy gun safes and upright pianos safely.
