- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our photography business is the center of our life at Tropical Focus Photography. Owners Bob and Karin Schlesinger are also husband and wife. "We both take advantage of professional seminars, conferences, and training opportunities whenever we have a spare moment", Karin says. We put aside time in our calendars for this all-important work on a regular basis to make sure we take the time do focus on learning.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One-hour sessions photographing people is our bread and butter work. Perhaps it's a family reunion, day-trippers, a secret engagement or professional imaging. Working with small groups is our specialty and we've earned a strong reputation along the way. Every job and every day is different - even when we are doing 1/2 hour mini-sessions on the beach or in the Gulfport Arts District. That's because every person we photograph is uniequely special - and we make it our business to bring out their fun side through our camera lens.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photography pro like us with the experience to give you what you want without compromise. Don't be fooled by low up-front price quotes - look for turnkey solutions that will give you the best value in the long run. Book as soon as you can to ensure availability and the lowest pricing possible.
