We hired Michael LaGuardia & Tommy Briola with LGA Construction llc to build a simple carport and studio for us. We provided payment for the foundation and framing stages. Problems were immediate. Foundation work was sloppy and had many mistakes. Framing work was started but was also very sloppythey did not follow the plans and much of the work had to be redone. They came just one day a week, and eventually disappeared altogether. In the end LGA only completed 90% of the foundation and just under half the framing (and really less than that because most of it needed to be redone) but he kept all of our money. We are now in the process of pursuing this legally.

Michael and his team did an amazing job removing and installing new flooring in both my bathrooms and carpet throughout my home. They also moved and replaced all my furniture...at no extra charge!! I'm very satisfied with the work and product Michael suggested for my growing family.

Do not do not hire LGA. They may have been a decent company at one point but Michael obviously tried to grow too fast. He is in dire financial trouble and he took over $60,000 from our project and showed terrible management skills. He will no longer respond and we are now pursuing legal action as well as a couple other people who had him working on their projects. And, worst thing of the entire thing is that he lies! Point blank.. Over and over.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in flooring, my father owned and operated his floor covering business for 29 years before I took it over. Construction came about because I was surrounded by general contractors, contractor and laborers. I saw the process for years and observed how a structure is constructed and so I made a successful Builder & Developer my mentor and he has been a close friend for years now.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in Flooring, Kitchen and Bath Remodels however our network of professional can take on most residential projects or builds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Understand the depth of experience your contractor has and the network he has to offer. Check for credentials and references before your hire them and lastly but most importantly understand the customer feed back of the work that company has supplied.
