Introduction: I believe my work stands out because it is genuine. Many photographers rely heavily on poses, additional lighting, studios and/or re-created moments to perfect their images. I believe in capturing real moments as they happen without a lot of gear to weigh me down or make you feel intimidated. I also know that being in front of the camera is rarely easy or natural to most of us so I do my best to help you feel relaxed and at ease, even in a potentially uncomfortable environment! My goal is for you to have fun and enjoy yourself so when you look back at your pictures, you don't think about feeling awkward. We want these to be happy memories, so let's make them exactly that! I love the flexibility that comes with owning my own business. I am a wife and a mother first so this business provides a great opportunity for me to unleash my professional and artistic side, while also giving me some "adult time", as I call it, on the weekends where I'm not wiping boogers or constantly cutting up food! :) I also absolutely love meeting new people and that is a huge part of photography! I thrive in big group settings and have no problem blending into the background to capture moments discreetly but also feel completely comfortable standing on a chair and directing a group of fifty people for a large family photo.

Rachel, was one of the first few who gave the quotes for my maternity photo shoot project request. Only one of the 2 who kept following up. after she didn't find response for the initial bid. I loved the photos in her profile and started communicating with her with all my questions. Her response was always on time and always patient to answer all my questions. Once I had signed her up, she also helped me with choosing my dress colors and location. The location I chose had lots to walk but she did make sure I got most of what I had desired with respect to location and poses. Most of the poses started as poses and then went candid especially with our daughter in the shoot. She engaged my daughter when she had to click my husband and my photos and my solo. The photos have come excellent!!! and She made sure everything was in order and well on time delivered including CD. I would highly recommend her for the shoot!!!!

Rachel did an outstanding job taking family photo's for our family. It was a "once in a lifetime" type of occasion for us, and she came through in flying colors. I was very pleased with the outcomes. She set up in a casual outdoor setting and managed to work well with our group and no only get the best from them for pic's but to also bring their personalities out in what she captured. She was a great find & I would highly recommend her.

Great experience! Rachel was very easy going and great to work with. On time and really fast turn around too. She took amazing photos of our girls and our family. Our girls can't wait to get to pose for her again! Plus she was great working with our lab puppy to have her included as well.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Quality photography matters, and it costs money. Don't ever compromise on quality just because someone is a couple hundred dollars cheaper and fits into your budget more nicely. ESPECIALLY with wedding photography - DO NOT COMPROMISE. I know I am biased when I say this but I truly believe that photography is the most important vendor at your wedding. Everything else that you spend money on wastes away and gets used up (I mean really - you might even lose your wedding ring one day!) but the one who captures those moments and all those things you spent money on - that's how you will remember the day. Find someone who gels with you and who you are genuinely excited about capturing your big day - and not just because it's saving you money.
