FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a line in space. This is the line of system quality, performance, aesthetics, longevity and value. When I design a system this is the line I design for, as I know this is the line you are wanting. If I spend less, and any of this line criteria suffers, I increase the investment back to the line. I will not undersell a system. However, if I conversely spend more money on the system, but do not see a dollar for dollar appreciable performance increase, then I reduce the investment and go back to the line. This is how an engineer designs a technology system. By performance, not by how big they can get the invoice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First is a quick phone or email conversation just to get a general feel for what they are needing and desiring. After this, and having an idea of the end result desired, I will take a look at the site so I can get a feel for the environment, acoustics, construction, distances, existing system, wiring, and more. Once this phase is complete, I will go about creating a system signal flowchart. This then creates an equipment list. I then create the design/bid based on these accurate parameters. This process, and phase one design is no charge to you.
