I had never worked with a designer on any of our previous remodels, so I was apprehensive about hiring one for our recent kitchen renovation. I searched online for designers in our area and reached out to a few to schedule appointments. Melissa promptly responded to my message and met with my husband and me. We decided to hire her because of her easygoing demeanor and her extensive knowledge of both construction and design. She literally held my hand and guided me through the initial planning process. When she showed us the first drawings of our new kitchen, I was amazed by her ability to see the possibilities for transforming the space. Melissa was very patient and attentive to our likes and dislikes, modifying her designs accordingly. She never became frustrated with me, even when I changed my mind at the eleventh hour.Melissa has many connections within the construction industry, including contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals. Although she arranged for several of these individuals to provide estimates, she never pressured us to hire them or showed any annoyance when we chose to work with someone we already knew. She continued to accompany me while shopping for materials, offering valuable suggestions while still allowing me to make the final decisions. It was so reassuring to have an expert by my side to discuss ideas and explore possibilities. What I appreciated most about Melissa throughout the remodeling process was her deep understanding of construction. She effectively "translated" the design vision for the contractor and cabinet maker, ensuring that the finished project reflected exactly what had been intended. Now that our family is enjoying our beautiful new kitchen and our guests continue to admire it, I am so grateful that we hired Melissa. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable. I would not hesitate to hire her again for any future remodeling projects.

I wanted to transform a room into a warm and peaceful guest bedroom. Morrisette Design was my choice to do the job. These knowledgeable, courteous designers went to work interpreting my vision into a well executed design. They worked within my budget, my tastes, preferences and lifestyle in a most customer service oriented manner.
I am extremely thrilled with the look and ambiance of my newly designed guest bedroom. They have created a warm and soothing oasis that will truly be welcoming to family and friends. Morrisette Design will definitely be my choice of designers for my next upcoming design project.

Melissa is a pleasure to work with and her designs are fresh, stunning and very comfortable to live and work in. She has a trained eye for high end, luxury design, scale, color, materials and flow. She is my go to resource for beautiful, affordable and well made materials, some that are not always seen in Seattle. She has provided me with drawings that create the best use of space with different options for specifications and works within a realistic budget. She is highly professional and her follow through has let me rest at night - as she takes care of details with shipping, tradesmen, installation and walkthrough.

We did a major remodel in our master bathroom. The bathroom is huge and we ripped everything out from the floors up. The choices for cabinets, tile, quartz, paint, lighting etc. were overwhelming. Melissa has a great eye and many years of experience working in the industry. She helped us narrow down all the choices and worked well with the Contractor. Cant thank her enough for her professionalism, constant support and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your decisions.
