We, at Joanne's, do caregiving to individuals and housecleaning (pretty self-explanatory). We also do housekeeping and window washing.

We have four different categories, in which the customer can pick one or all of the services. Many of them do 2-3 instead of just one. It makes good sense as you get it all done in one shot!

We are a licensed and insured company. We are growing. My goal is to be one of the biggest housecleaning companies on the east side of Seattle within 6 months.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Houses and businesses. We do All kinds. But mostly houses and local businesses on the Eastside and Seattle areas. Just your basic cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, Kitchen floors, countertops, bathrooms, tubs, toilets, We do not leave a stone untouched! We ask the Client if there is any extras he/she wants done first.. We always try to make it cheap as possible for you but at the same time you have to remember and respect we are running a business and that has many costs behind it.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. All three were completely satisfied. They offered to give me a reference to anyone who asks for it.We have never had any complaints. If so, I would be glad to take care of it and make things right. Thanks

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the company is licensed and insured. Has at least 5 years experience. Has a website and call them to make sure they are real.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Pretty much covered it in the previous question.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. We are very easy going and we do not make our clients feel stupid. So, no there is not really much to consider. If you called us, you need help obviously, Any kind of decisions, we can sit down and go over the details together and help you make the right ones.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have some super fantastic gals that are with us now. Very upbeat and always smiling! Plus they are awesome workers and really know what they are doing. we all get along as a second family. We all help each other out. Best group of gals I have seen in a long time!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Well, I am the President and CEO. I do scheduling, work on the website, find more clients, etc. .Make sure the gals are being treated well and taken care of, but not that I get a chance to get out into the field that often, but I think I like it the best as the gals and I always laugh so hard our stomachs hurt. We get along so well!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. They do not ask many personal questions, (at least most of them), some like to ask how much money we make? how did you become to be such a successful business? I tell them, treat the customers great by giving them or reminding them of all the different deals we have going on trying to save them money and treat your gals very good. That makes for one heck of a team if everyone is happy!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We have to many to remember. Something is always going on here that keeps you laughing!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Once you do business with us for a few months, you get to know how we work and what we value to make us different. You will like us!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I had to quit my old job and ways as I have cervical and neck problems. Turned my life around as I have always been in the trades or working with my hands. I am glad it happened, I seem to enjoy life more and much less stress free. I love the people I work with.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I cannot think of one that I am not proud of. If it is not right, we will fix it or reimburse you until you are happy. We never leave a unhappy customer! We have gift certificates we give out on special occasions. Some just because they are great clients and secondly if something did go wrong, we make sure we give them one.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Sure, I am always on the computer, looking at different cleaning businesses and see how they do things, etc.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. There will always be house cleaning. I suppose if they came out with robots, that might change things out a bit, but for the most part, no.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. We had a job cleaning up an old tore up apartment building downtown Seattle.. It took 20 of us 3 weeks. It was a priority and got paid well, but the best part about it, is we were all together and had a lot of fun and did such a fantastic job, the clients gave us a bonus and said "you guys are the .happiest bunch I have ever seen. Made me feel good. That's my gals!!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. We make it very simple. Each of the gals has a notebook/laptop. We go to our website and pay for it right there at the end of the session. . It takes credit cards, paypal, check, or cash. we go over the invoice with them so everything is very clear. It is very basic.A 5th grader could do this. but we give you a copy of the invoice and we keep one..

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Go for it! there are a lot of us around, but what is one more? There is enough room for all of us!

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. I am at ease in this business. This company is the most fun I have worked for ever. Doing great at what I do and making it nice and comfortable for the gals and the clients.
I love making clients feel good.and love taking care of my crew.

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. I am planning a major campaign for new clients. 10,000 is the number . Now I know I will not get all 10,000, But if I can get 1000 out of 10;000 I will be happy. Only to start it over again and again until I hit the 10,000 mark, which I will do! It may take awhile, but I will get them!

Answer-YES!!! IT JUST TAKES DRIVE AND MOTOVATION. Also being around the right people (my gals and team) makes it easy to accomplish things.
