QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • 10 years’ experience in the construction industry performing carpentry and remodeling, including framing, roofing, siding. • 1 year experience creating bids and estimates. • 2 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman, meeting all deadlines and working within the budgets. • 7 years’ experience reading blueprints. • Able to type 22 wpm. • Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. • Proficient knowledge of the area and able to read maps. • Bilingual in English and Spanish. WORK EXPERIENCE CARPENTER, Carpenter Union Local #131, Seattle, WA 2001-2012 • Build bridges, tunnels, rail work, parking garages, and residential construction. • Pour foundations and built forms. • Work with rebar and built scaffolding. • Work quickly and met all deadlines. • Inspect PT cables. • Responsible for checking scaffold to ensure safety compliance. • Jobsite Foreman for two projects: Obayashi tunnel entrance and Conco, building an apartment complex.
