Roberto did very high-quality work for our floor repair project. So he finished the job within the promised timeline. Meanwhile, he would love to communicate with us to let us know the root cause of the problem, which I can understand and think it makes a lot of sense. So, in order to fix the issue thoroughly, he doesn't mind checking extra area as he pointed out. That professionalism impressed us a lot. Highly recommended and would like to hire again!

For sure I’ll hire them in case I need any floor service. I did refinish in a Brazilian cherry hardwood floor and rebuilt a start with red oak and tile in the landing. Looks just amazing.

West Coast Hardwood Floors is a fantastic company. They were professional, and hard working. They arrived on time, and gave me a great estimate and really listened to what I wanted for the floor install. We had sheet linoleum installed in the basement and the foyer of the house. They worked with the materials we had purchased, and were able to come up with good solutions when we realized part of the flooring was damaged and they had a little less to work with. We plan on installing more flooring in the future and we will be hiring West Coast Hardwood Floors again.

If we could give West Coast Hardwood Floors (Roberto & Hellen) 10+ stars we would ! Communication was great. Hellen responded quickly via Thumbtack and then followed up with a phone call to schedule the estimate. Roberto arrived on time, discussed the various options, how he would handle all the details, and took the time to listen to our concerns. The pricing was very good and honest. Each day Roberto arrived on time, setup his tools including his tent so that he could work through the rain, and worked diligently throughout the day, he always took the time to answer all our questions. At the end of everyday he cleaned up the area, neatly put away his tools, and even vacuumed the entire area! We had our upstairs floor done (laminate), and the stairs re-done with custom hardwood. The attention to detail Roberto puts into all his work is simply incredible. The stairs fit perfectly flush, the cutouts around the stair railings are incredible. The quality of Roberto's work is AMAZING. See the pictures. West Coast Hardwood Floors went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations. What you get with Roberto and West Coast Hardwood floors is beyond just installation, you get a Master Carpenter! We are so happy to have found such a professional and reliable contractor. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Roberto and West Coast Hardwood Floors again for any future projects!

Our education relates how to manager a business and what we are learning with experiences is ''do your best, get the best results".
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I arrived in USA, in 2002 I had an opportunity to start working with someone who needed a helper so I started step by step learning day by day every details working with wood flooring. And now after 18 years I am able to Install, Repair, Finish, and Refinish. Roberto De Souza with Team.
