Jarrod worked on adjusting the loose hinge in our bathroom glass door and he installed a new glass panel for another bathroom. His work was pretty solid. Jarrod was very good and thorough in his follow-ups from the beginning to the end. He kept his time and his estimates were very close to the final amount. I would strongly recommend him. (In fact I have already given his contact to my friend who wanted some help.)
Moved furniture...up and down stairs. Did a recycle and dump run and picked up/delivered a new living room set. Efficient, friendly and good prices.
I couldn't be happier with the service that Michelle provided. She pulled together the look I dreamed of for my house but couldn't do myself. I absolutely love the selections she made to create beautiful rooms that are also sensible, and for less than I budgeted. Michelle is friendly and personable. I felt she sincerely cared about me and my family. For a creative, functional, beautiful home makeover that's cost-conscious, I highly recommend Michelle.
Jose Seattle Painting & Construction he got a great eye and gave us good advice about design paint colors . He worked with our budget and ran with our interest in using salvaged materials where possible (to gorgeous effect). His team is friendly and considerate and they do beautiful work. I would highly recommend them.
Robert is a talented designer, so to have him in my home helping with simple things was quite a treat. He fit me right into his schedule, arrived on time, and worked thoughtfully, thoroughly, and efficiently. Plus,he has a great eye! I will definitely call him again.
Outstanding quality and attention to detail. Igor goes the extra mile and stands behind his work and his pricing. He is also a very creative problem solver and possesses a nice design esthetic
Streamline Seattle offers a truly incredible service. I had never tried home organizing before, so I didn't know what to expect. After two sessions with Streamline Seattle, I'm completely blown away. I come home to what I call a 'Pinterest-Perfect House.' My closets literally look like something that you might find on Pinterest. The best thing about Streamline Seattle is that they set you up for long-term success (rather than quick bandaid fixes). The whole process is easy and FUN! This is one of the best investments I've ever made. I can't recommend this enough. It will truly change your life.
I hired Jane to help us plan and design our bathroom remodel. From the first meeting, she had some great ideas and options, many of which are now incorporated into the final design. In addition, she helped us through the contractor sourcing process to make sure that we found someone suitable for the work. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our new bathroom, and I'd highly recommend hiring Jane for similar projects.
Rosie is great. Easy to work with, very professional and incredibly capable. She hung a 4-panel wallpaper mural in my bedroom and it turned out absolutely GORGEOUS! I highly recommend her.
Erin was very helpful in my decision-making process for my bathroom remodel. It was my first remodel, so I needed the guidance of a professional. I am delighted with the result and highly recommend Erin for your home project. I will call on her again for second bathroom and kitchen remodels and window treatments.
After many attempts to replace my old, mismatched living and dining room furniture, it was obvious I needed help. I just didn't know what style or colors to choose. Fortunately, I found Lulu of Styled Staging though Thumbtack. She was amazing; what had once seemed overwhelming to me became fun. After just one visit with me in my home, and one shopping trip, Lulu suggested specific furniture items that fit my lifestyle and my home. Her design knowledge, enthusiasm, and great personality were a wonderful match for me. I will post some pictures once I finish accessorizing.
After locally "shopping" around for different interior designers, I decided to go with Freshen Design after reviewing samples of the interior design work they've previously done and based on my positive discussions with the owner, Francine. I found Francine to be attentive to my needs-- she has a very keen eye for design and she tried her best to work with my budget. Whenever I raised any concerns, she took the time to listen and consider my opinion or needs. She was completely transparent when outlining the pros and cons of different design options. There were several instances where she went above and beyond to deliver the results I was looking for. Overall, extremely happy with the results and several friends have already complimented on my home's transformation!
Lawrence saved us after a negative experience with another architect! We are adding an attached garage with a room over the top, two upstairs bathrooms, new kitchen, raising the roof and adding a dormer to augment our view, and taking out the interior chimney to open up the stair case . . . on a Tudor house that was built in 1928--not an easy project. The plans are creative and lovely, and we had no problem getting a building permit. Lawrence is prompt, patient, and really listens. Will post photos of the finished remodel when we're done.
Mark was able to convert my drawings into a 2d floor plan with a same day finish. I will use his services again if needed.
Meeta is designer savvy who is willing to go the distance for any customer. She is a quick study of her clients. She understands and listens to the client in a way that is very efficient and on point. I am particularly fussy and working with her was such a blessing. I would highly recommend her for any design needs.
My builder for life The people at Fine Design Build are part craftsman, part artist, part magician. I learned the hard way, courtesy of my previous builder, that you need all three qualities in your contractor. Most builders, quite frankly, operate with only one or two of those qualities - and then only in varying degrees of goodness. Like a two-legged stool, it shows in the results. If you want it done right- and not only right, but beyond what you might ask or imagine - I can't imagine a better choice than Fine Design Build. As I write this review, we're finishing up the remedial work on what passes for "industry standard" (right!, Industry standard is a code term for shoddy workmanship, inferior materials, crooked walls, bad ergonomic design, squeaky subfloors, poor paint work, bad excavation, and so on), and I am amazed that they have made some pretty challenging projects look like they were done right the first time- as originally intended! Considering what they had to work with (so-called industry standard), its incredible really. That's where the magician part comes in. With future big projects planned (a shop/barn and a timber frame home), it is comforting to know I have found a builder for life. I only wish I knew Fine Design Build before I got started on this cottage - you know, the one built to industry standards. If this review sounds a bit over the top, it's only because the results are over the top - results that have swung me from utterly frustrated to completely overjoyed.
We had fine design help us with a small kitchen remodel and flooring throughout a couple rooms in our home. We were very happy with the outcome! Taylor and his guys are very professional and quick to respond. Taylor is super handy with everything and we are consistently using him for other home improvements (i.e wood mantel installation) and will use him in the near future for our master bathroom remodel and quartz installation. Great price range and good quality. Only improvements for Taylor and his team would be cleaning up daily after work and completing on time, our project was finished a few days late. We highly recommend!
After my mom died, her house was in no way ready for new occupants. Fresh home design helped us organize and arrange for disposal of all that was remaining in the home and worked with a shoestring budget to increase our appraised value by $40,000 in only a short amount of time. Fresh paint, refinished hardwood floors, and new trim really made it shine!
Bharat Patel provided drawings and an as built survey of a new commercial retail building in U-Village. We are based in New York and needed someone to turn around the job quickly and provide on the ground coordination; Bharat's timing, coordination and level of detail in drawing were great!
William designed the addition to my house. Drew flawless drwings. Submitted them to the city and because of his experience, was granted the building permit. He very professional and very experienced
B & Emerson was impressive to work with, and the design choices have been well received.
