About
I am Bert Blackmore, owner of Weddings and Events by Chef Berttron. We are a family-owned business in Mill Creek Washington, serving weddings and other social and business events in the Greater Seattle area, for nearly 12 years. I have enjoyed a career in the dining industry for over 35 years.
I have been of service as an executive chef, wedding coordinator, and event planner to over 1000 brides, grooms and other clients, in my many years of experience. I would like this opportunity to hopefully be of service to you and your clients, in the coming wedding season.
We are a full-service catering company.
Everything is cooked fresh on-site, if possible, depending on site location, in our mobile kitchen.
We arrive 2 to 3 hours before the event starts. We take care of everything for you, from start to finish, including room and event setup, full service during your event, and full cleanup when your event is complete.
We have 40 wonderful outgoing chef's banquet captains, waitstaff, prep cooks, and class 12 bartenders on staff. Our food is excellent, professionally prepared, and tailored to your needs.
Review our menus on our website. It's our company's standard menu choices, but with just a little more information, we can do any type of menu you desire for your event. We have four very experienced chefs and myself, to provide you with any type of cuisine. With a simple call, your event will begin to unfold, just as you envisioned.

Chef Bert responded to my Thumbtack request with a thorough presentation of what his company has to offer, assuring me that they have worked our venue many times. I am the Mother of the Bride and was confident that Chef Bert was a good candidate to cater my daughters wedding. My daughter and her fiance met with Chef Bert and were impressed with his experience and personality. As part of the decision process, Chef Bert offers an amazing, dinner for 6 in your own home, to try the food of your choice, prior to the wedding. Bert and his assistant Ron, arrived an hour and a half before dinner, dressed in tuxedos and ready to cook. The table was stunning. From the appetizers to the salad to the main course, the food was absolutely one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. Not only is he a talented Chef, Bert is a kind and funny man. We are all looking forward to working with him and his staff (not to mention, eating his food again!)at my daughter's wedding in July. I will write an update after the wedding and let you know how it went.

If you are looking for a wonderful Chef who is also an event planner, look no further than Chef Berttron. This guy was amazing. I am the Mother of the bride and from our first meeting through the wedding day (August 1, 2015) he was nothing but professional and he extremely good at what he does. Chef Berttron and his staff helped from start to finish with setup, cleanup, service, and everything in between. Everyone was impressed with the food. We had Chicken Marsala, Halibut in dill butter sauce, Salad with pears and candied walnuts in a raspberry vinaigrette, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and fresh made rolls. There was even enough to take extra home. Additionally, he was very good about accommodating for a food allergy the Groom had. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job Chef Berttron and his staff did. Not only is Chef Berttron professional, but he has a take charge personality that allows you to really relax and enjoy the day and he does it all with a smile. Thank you Chef Berttron for all that you did to make our Daughters wedding day picture-perfect and providing us with the confidence to place everything in your control which allowed us to really enjoy the day worry free!

We had a great experience with Weddings and Events by Chef Berttron. Chef and his crew came to my house to cater our company Christmas Party. They whipped out a full dinner for 27 people, set-up everything, helped me with my final cleaning and decorating and were on top of it all throughout the night. We were all impressed!

Was suppose to have a tasting showed up 30 mins late and then said he wouldnt do it cause i have stairs and it was too much work. Very unprofessional and waste of time

I spent the whole day getting Britta's In home free demo dinner ready. So that she could try our food for her wedding. Drove in traffic to Renton from Everett. Very hard to find apartment complex to find. Thats why I was late. I got there and there was no parking for my van. I would have had to carry all of my catering equipment. from the front of the building to the back of the building. In my e-mails to her, (no apartment buildings) Her apartment was also on the 2nd floor with no elevator also. Chef Berttron, Owner/Wedding Planner
