FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For labor we charge $60.00 an hr plus tax with a 2 hr minimum on most small projects. cost of materials not included in pricing. Some jobs as in furniture assembly may be charged by the piece. Some jobs may require that we come to the jobsite to calculate what's needed for your project to be completed so we can generate a fair estimate. For this we charge a $60 an hr, minimum of $60, service fee. In addition we charge a $1 per mile portal fee to cover costs of travel for jobs outside of the Everett area. tax not included in pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a bit of information apon first contact; name, phone number, address, brief description of services required and when you need the job to start and be completed. Next we'll establish a good time for us to meet and complete the job or evaluate what's needed for the scope of work depending on what's required. Based on job description and the route you choose to go I may send an estimate to you for review and signing if you decide to use our services. After we recieve your singed estimate we will call to confirm your appointment before arrival. for jobs that need to be assessed before an estimate can be given there will be a service fee applied for the in home visit that is billed separate from the final invoice. If your happy with the process and would like to proceed I would have you sign a service agreement and collect any necessary deposits or retainers at that time. If the job can be completed same day an estimate can be generated and signed along with a service agreement to allow the approval of work to begin and you will be invoiced once the job is completed.
