Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

Noe provided us with a competitive, fair quote and he and his crew did a great job on our project - which was replacing two decks with trex, replacing a flat roof under the deck, painting, and repairing a ton of dry rot and mold damage in the room underneath the leaking flat roof (replacing drywall, installing a huge new window, crown molding work, trim, etc). He worked extremely hard and was a great communicator. There were times when we had to leave for a trip so we just left him the keys to our house and felt extremely comfortable doing that. Our deck looks great! We have had so many compliments from people on it. I would not hesitate to recommend Noe to anyone. He was an excellent communicator also and if there was something I didn't like (I am a bit picky!) he would fix it to my liking, which I really appreciated :) Thanks again Noe!

Hired on Thumbtack

Quoted job without reading the description of the job, or having an understanding of what needs to be done. Poor communication skills. Removes our trust in hiring, as we are not sure this person understands the project or even wishes to understand. Just tosses a low quote hoping to be hired for whatever the job is, and will figure it out later. Flaw in Thumbtack is the only allow 5-quotes, so sometimes they get filled up without anyone actually reading them, so we have to start over. That's the case this time.
