- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We quote website designs and builds by the job. I take into account the difficulty of the build and how many pages the website will have to give you an exact quote for the cost of your website. I will also give you a quote for any ongoing costs for plugins and specialty programs if we need them for your site. Website hosting quotes are for the yearly hosting fees. Our basic hosting package includes: hosting, SSL, nightly backup, and domain name registration. We have many other services we can provide as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I like to see samples of site designs they like. I find out the colors they would like the site to feature. If they have a logo, I try to make sure the site feel compliments their logo. Once I have a basic idea of the site look, I ask for the content they would like in the site. I start building around the content and look many times giving style options to choose from.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building and maintaining websites as a hobby for 15 years. I have recently finished all the classes in an Associates Degree in Web Sites and Cloud Applications.
