Teresa C. says, "I hired Jesus to conduct a good amount of dry rot repairs to the exterior of the two 23 year old buildings of our townhome complex. He provided us with one of the best quotes, and I had a good feeling about him. He was confident and knowledgeable. This project started mid/late July 2024 and wasn’t completed until early November 2024. Jesus and his crew were great at the beginning. Communication was excellent. Overall, they did a good job with the repairs but they needed supervision and a lot of reminders. About 1/2 to 2/3 through this project, I felt he started accepting other projects before ours was completed which was fine, but this led to delays, loss of their attention to details. Communication started breaking down ,then the rain came; not an ideal situation. This project eventually did get done. We are all very happy with the end result. It wasn’t exactly as smooth as it could have been, but we’re grateful for Jesus and his team’s hard work and dedication."See more

Scott R. says, "My experience with Tims’s Handyman Shocks was excellent. Although I never met Tim himself I’m guessing he’s not only the owner but the main handyman, his Thumbtack profile mentions that he has two other employees working with him, for a total of three. Monica, his assistant and office manager, was incredibly helpful and made the entire process clear and easy. It all started with a simple text message, followed by a phone call to get a better idea of the job I needed done. I needed rear brakes and rotors installed on my 2007 Honda Odyssey because I had no rear brakes left. I could hear the grinding of metal on metal and knew it was urgent and I could not delay the job. Most of the repair shops around me were quoting sky high prices for this job, even for just the rear brakes. I was not looking to spend an unreasonable amount of money, so I decided to save on parts by buying them myself through Amazon at a very reasonable price. Although I had the parts ready, I physically could not complete the work myself since I am disabled. That is when I found Tims’s Handyman Shocks on Thumbtack and reached out on a Sunday afternoon. Monica called me at four o’clock that same Sunday and told me that their certified mechanic, Christan, who handles all of their car repair requests, was available to do the job that day! Originally, I had asked for the work to be done on Monday morning, but they were able to accommodate me with same day service, which was a huge relief. Christan was fantastic super professional, polite, and very personable. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He replaced my rear brakes and rotors quickly, within an hour maybe even less. While the price quoted by Tims’s Handyman Shocks was higher than I initially wanted to spend (since I had mentioned on Thumbtack that my budget was around fifty to one hundred dollars), I decided to go ahead and do it because, even with the higher price, I still saved several hundred dollars compared to the quotes I had received from local repair shops. Buying the parts on Amazon and having Christan do the installation through Tims’s Handyman Shocks was still a far better deal than any other repair shop offered. Christan also made sure everything was done correctly and that I was completely satisfied before he left. Monica handled the payment easily over text, which made the whole process seamless and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I have saved Tims’s Handyman Shocks contact information for any future mechanic or handyman work I might need. Thank you so much for getting this done so quickly, I feel much safer on the road again. I will definitely use Tims’s Handyman Shocks again for any home or auto repair. It is clear that Tim’s employees really care about his reputation and about taking good care of their customers. I did not expect same day service, but it was awesome! Thank you again for everything!"See more
