This was quite remarkable and played a significant part in my decision-making process. Additionally, they installed a smart switch for me at no extra cost. This had been a challenge for me for quite some time and their gesture truly meant a lot. Although there were minor mishaps initially - including forgetting to bring the caulk necessary for weatherproofing the security camera and missing a long enough ladder for the camera installation. Also, during their first visit, it appeared that the doorbell transformer was dead. Despite these hiccups, the team was committed to resolving all issues satisfactorily. They scheduled two more visits, ensuring all my concerns were addressed properly. When they had to install a new transformer, they requested an additional charge, but again, the rate was very reasonable and still much cheaper than other quotes I had received. What impressed me even more was their professionalism even after I'd completed the full payment: they were responsive and held themselves accountable, delivering on their promise. A detail that may seem trivial but mattered to me was their courteous nature. It is not common with many contractors. But with them, even when needing to use the restroom in my home, they asked for permission and used it respectfully, leaving it clean. So, wrapping it all up, I've honestly got nothing but praise for Shudko Electric. You know how some companies make you feel like just another job? Not these folks. They were real pros, didn't charge an arm and a leg, and they seemed to genuinely care about getting things done right. Really refreshing, if you ask me. An appointment was scheduled immediately.Dmytro found my home even if I texted him the wrong house number.The Inspector I hired stated that some outlets are not grounded so I was anxious to fix this to prevent a fire or an explosion.I showed Dmytro a photo of a red light which goes on & off behind the wall. He seemed perplexed when I explained that this is the warning light signifying no grounding. He tested the outlet and said it was grounded.I am embarrassed to have discovered it was the Serta air mattress that I'm using temporarily until my bed can be set up. This air mattress quietly inflates the bed to keep it firm which triggers the red light!Dmytro is very professional, knowledgeable and possesses the patience to provide detailed explanations so I could understand the electrical issues. He was able to complete all the work he had to do, in a day and performed, "service with a smile." (1 might have been entertaining.)"See more
