My voice lessons have been a lot of fun and quite the learning experience. Bryan has been a blast to work with. His long term experience as a teacher, music producer (and professional drummer!) has been invaluable in getting more than just a "voice lesson", but a true "recording studio experience". The ability to have the lessons in a real studio where recording and instant playback is available is unparalleled. Bryanâs ability to provide you with a âbefore pictureâ of one song, compared to that same song a few weeks later speaks VOLUMES toward actually hearing how youâve improved over time. Also a recording studio allows you the ability to really focus on those key nuances in a certain phrase or word in a song to get it perfect when you can do it over and over and over again until Bryan says it's just right. In the studio setting it is so much more than standing there with an instructor over a piano for an hour and then go home and try to remember what you learned. At The Factory with Bryan you get to have access to the actual recording(s) of your lesson available to you at home when you practice during the week. These offerings makes the fundamental lessons regarding vowel phrasing, breathing techniques, etc. so much more fun. Lastly I love the great mix of fundamental lessons applied directly to some of my favorite songs/artists in a recording studio environment. Youâre standing there singing into a screened microphone, with headphones on just like the pros. I mean seriously, how fun is that!?! Just a great experience all around. I'm very happy that I chose Bryan Lash and The Factory for my voice lessons.
Ken did a great job mixing and met my expectations. Also very helpful in collaborating with you to help you get the sound you desire.
For nearly a decade I have toyed with the idea of taking singing lessons, but just recently did I finally work up the courage to do it. I have always enjoyed singing but never liked how I sounded or had the confidence to perform in front of other people. Now I have been taking lessons from Andrea since the start of the year and in just the first couple of lessons I began to hear an immediate improvement. As I continue to work with Andrea I am discovering a whole new voice that I never knew I had! I look forward to continuing to develop and improve my singing abilities with her. She is fun to work with, has an intuitive feel for finding the right techniques to help each student and also manages to sneak in some great all around life advice and encouragement as well. One of the most profound things she has taught me in our lessons had nothing to do with singing at all!
I have recorded with Jason Shavey for years. He is very savvy and a top notch pro. He cares about his clients to no end and has a special ear for producing vocals. Can't say enough about how great it is to work with him. And that doesn't even account for the quality of the studio he is piloting. Yes, Synergy is great.
I received beginner guitar lessons from Justin. It was great! He taught me the basics and some great tricks to help me remember what I was learning each week. I felt like I improved really quickly with his instructions. I was impressed with how patient he was while he listened to me fumble through the chords!
I have parent some much from Sami. Has taught me how to sing higer and also how to really use my voice and not sing with such a nasel tone . He has gave me a lot of knowledge about the guitar like how riffs are written. Overall he's help me become a better artist and if i could i would give him more then 5
I can't express how amazing Daniel's photography was at the Image Kids camp! Photography takes a lot of skill. Taking an excellent photo takes effort but the fact that Daniel took so many great photos of children - goofing around and hard to get to cooperate - so well says a lot about what he can pull off so impressively. If you are looking for amazing photos that will leave you speechless, Daniel is your man!
Vannessa has been providing voice lessons to my 10 year old for a month now and the student is enjoying them immensly.
Working with Gene was...easy! He is so professional and has excellent communication! He arrived on time, was prepared and treated me with respect. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks, Gene!
Aaron has taught two of my children guitar voice and composition since 2011. To say that he is talented is an understatement. He is not only musically skilled, he gets people. He saw what each of my kids needed to break beyond their limits and truly excel at their art. He is a strengths-based teacher who is able to bring out creativity in young people. We have appreciated the Positive force he has been k noir child's lives. It's not just about the music.
I took voice lessons from Terry. I had never taken any lessons before. I was so nervous, but Terry was very patient & kind. He is conscientious. I wasn't able to continue, but if I could, I would definitely see him again!!
Friendly and knowledgable, Larry was my piano teacher for over 5 years, but together we dabbled in voice, sax, guitar, and even a bit of drums. He tailored lessons to exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. He can stick to the standard lesson plans, or adapt them to exactly what you want to learn. He's a good guy and a good teacher who gave me all the foundations to be confident in just about every aspect of music.
As a fellow artist and film maker, I can attest to Aaron's professionalism and passion for the craft. His years of experience make for an effortless process, he is extremely considerate and patient, and produces the best quality material that I've had done so far. He's intuitive enough to put you in spaces that help you get the image and production value you need for your brand. Also, his team is socially conscious, you have to respect someone with talent like his coupled with a commitment to service and exposing the voice of the voiceless. Highly recommended with a unique clientele base, Aaron and his GoatHouse team will be the new innovators and trend setters in video and photography.
Shana is very professional and energetic. Had a very good time in the first class.
I have a busy schedule so was delighted that Vinnie didn't need a lot of guidance because he is an expert in what he does. He is very creative and talented! I started receiving positive feedback immediately from his work.
I never met with Joy. Your form did not permit me to say I chose another voice coach that you had previously recommended
Not only was he was very prepared and a well driven individual but he cared for the final product as if it was his own. Also very creative with a strong vision/sense for creativity.
Producing a commercial? Making a documentary? Got a book you want recorded? How about a voicemail message? Then I'm the guy you want to talk to! I have been a narrator for the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library for nearly 14 years. Much of that time was spent interviewing authors, and reading short stories and newspapers for broadcast on weekly programs. I have also participated in a number of projects including television trailers, local cable television commercials, radio dramas, video projects for Microsoft and Costco, and multimedia educational software for McGraw-Hill. I have access to a professional studio here in Seattle, where I can record projects, and then send them to you via mp3 or CD, or I can come to you. I have a wide range, and am able to take direction easily. I'm more than willing to audition via telephone, or record some copy, and send you an mp3. Do not hesitate to contact me for references, rates, and availability. I look forward to helping you out with your project.
As an actor with classical theatre and voice training, who is also a voice artist, I provide a very highly-trained, imaginatively sensitive and professionally capable bass-baritone-low-tenor-range voice to broadcast, non-broadcast and custom projects, requiring anything from the ancient, classical or fantastical to the modern and street level; the authoritative, patrician, grizzled or commanding to the vulnerable, urban-sophisticated, seductive or sweetly innocent. My normal voice is a kind of Irish-inflected 'mid-Atlantic', and I'm proficient in a variety of accents, from American to British, Russian, etc. I don't currently have a home studio, and use professional recording studios to record to compact disc, file upload or ISDN patch. If I'm recording remotely, clients can listen in live during recording via a Skype connection.
