I was really hoping to find a repair company I could count on for any future issues, someone dependable and trustworthy. Sadly, this company turned out to be neither. I’d asked for a quote to fix my over-the-range microwave, and they agreed to send a technician out. He quoted $39 for the initial service call and gave me a window between 7 AM and 11 AM. Well, he didn't show up until 11:20 AM, with no heads-up about the delay and, of course, no apology. He just asked to be taken to the kitchen and started taking the microwave apart. After several trips to his truck, the microwave was finally fixed. But here's where things really bothered me: he completed the entire job before discussing any pricing and then slapped me with a bill for $337.47. I let him know how I felt, explaining that any cost should have been laid out before any work began. I even asked him what he would have done if I couldn't afford it. He casually said he’d just remove the parts from the microwave. I told him that wasn't necessary and that I'd pay, but I also pointed out that a brand new microwave, fully installed, would cost me half of what he was charging. Frankly, the price seemed ridiculous for a microwave that’s pushing 10 years old and likely to break again soon. He insisted that my brand of microwave typically costs around $400, but he missed the mark completely – those $400 models are smart microwaves with Wi-Fi, mine is anything but. I definitely won't be calling this company again. He seemed pretty unhappy about it and left in a hurry after I signed the invoice.

I highly recommend Stalex. My refrigerator broke and he came out the same day, diagnosed it ordered the part and came back the very next day to fix it. He was very polite, professional and efficient! Prices were reasonable too.
