Highland Fences did an excellent job replacing our current old 22 year old 310 ft. fence. We decided to go horizontal. This decision did not disappoint. It was a 7 day project that finished on time. Florent was also able to stump grind what was left of a large Maple tree that was in the way which allowed the new fence to be installed in a straight line. He also reinforced the back side with 2”x2” to help prevent warping. Thank you to Florent and his hardworking crew whom I watched take pride in their work. Beautiful job!

We had 675’ of black vinyl fence installed, with two man gates, and a combo swinging/sliding 28’ gate. The end result was we got a 4 star quality fence, but there were too many complications throughout the project that distracted from the end result. It is not my job to babysit, and make sure things get done right, that is the supervisor’s job. I shouldn’t have to point out errors in craftsmanship that are obvious to someone that’s not in the industry, like myself. The owner did apologize and rectify most issues. I would caution that if they are not being careful with the material, or wiping the concrete splashing 1/3 the way up the post as they go, say something before it’s too late. The fix was scraping the concrete off the post, which then caused paint issues. I also had to remind them that we live at the residence full time, and for a week and a half project, we can’t have garbage and fence scraps all around our property. Price was in the middle of other estimates.
