Updated: the owner was very persistent in making sure that I was a satisfied customer, and we had a good conversation about what could have gone better and how he could train his staff better. Problem was resolved satisfactorily. Brought out Advanced Garage Doors to take a look at our garage door that was closing roughly/not smoothly. They were responsive and punctual. They recommended lubrication and new roller wheels. $850 later, we thought our issue had been fixed. Fast forward 2 months, and the door is still closing roughly, so much so that the door won't close automatically due to an excessive force warning. Because of the warranty on their work, Advanced Garage Doors came back out to take a look at it, same day I contacted them, but it was a completely different problem, and they fixed it.

Just 3 hours after I created the project on Thumbtack, I had a brand new garage door opener and garage door rollers. I was worried I might need a whole new door but they assured me I only needed new rollers (unlike some other businesses I talked to). They gave me the hard sell to try and get the job done same day and after some googling of the products they were quoting and online comparison, I agreed. It was, by everything I saw online, a pretty good deal. Took ~2 hours and they walked me through the whole system (remotes, keypad, camera, app, etc) No regrets except that I waited so long to fix my garage door.
