OUTSTANDING SERVICE! We selected Roofsmart to provide our Nu-Ray metal roof with Oceanguard. OMAR MORAN (project manager) and his crew did an amazing job removing and replacing the rotting boards under our prior composite shingles, which required changing out several rafters and ensuring sufficient air flow throughout the attic spaces. He and his crew were very meticulous, installing protective flashing around the skylights, multiple exhaust vents, roof hip joints and fascia edges. Omars communication with us was excellent: he informed us of unusual findings and took nearly 300 pictures (including arial drone camera views) to show what repairs were needed, as well as after repair pictures to document the work that was done, so that I didnt need to climb up on the second story roof to ensure that it had been completed. Although not part of the roof, Omars team found a leak in our chimney that had turned the supports under the Hardie-board siding into mushy rotten wood; the Roofsmart carpenter crew replaced all the damaged chimney (surrounding scaffolding/support beams and fascia) parts and applied new Hardie-board siding to make it look like new. Omar designed and installed a new metal cap for our chimney that allows smoke out, but doesnt allow water in. Roofsmart also has interior drywall specialists that are able to repair cracks caused by water leakage or other damage. Each evening before they departed, the roof crew cleared the area of all debris, including using a magnet sweeper on wheels to clear the patio and driveway of nails, staples and metallic fragments, so that we could safely bring our cars back into the driveway. Every conversation with Omar was a delight. He was attentive, knowledgeable and we were sorry to see our roofing family go when they finished the job.

Our pricing is "in the middle." We are often more comprehensive, so sometimes it seems like we cost more. But we're just including what you need so there are fewer surprises.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Been a licensed general contractor in Washington & Oregon since 2011. Continuing education required for Oregon license. NOTHING required in Washington to demonstrate competence for us, or any other "licensed" contractor.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad is a builder. He makes castles, I'll fix yours!
