Interior design is not my strength and I was lost. Fortunately, I found Alison on Thumbtack. She walked me through the process, did what I asked her to do (including pushing me out of my comfort zone) and changed my new construction empty house into my home. I would highlight her fee structure which removed the conflicts of interest that plague this industry, and her practicality in finding more expensive furnishings where it made sense and some spectacular work on a budget where it didn't make sense to spend a lot. Thanks A!Aug 29, 2018
Alison was an amazing partner in designing our living room and dining room interiors. She truly listened to our visions and hopes and was able to "articulate" them with a comprehensive design proposal. I loved the color palette and the detail in all the pieces she picked. She also worked really well with our price point and was able to find amazing items. I really valued her professionalism and quick turnaround, especially given how much work clearly went into the design proposal. She also iterated really quickly with us and was responsive and helpful as our ideas shaped. I couldn't have asked for a better partner!Oct 14, 2017
"Wilk Design Workshop helped me remodel my condo. Ali was extremely professional and has a great sense of style! She was really great with helping me pick out the right paint colors, select furniture and accessories, and add some organization to my space. Thank you Wilk Design Workshop!"Mar 2, 2016
She was really efficient at understanding what I was trying to achieve. She submitted a very clear plan for how I could achieve it on my own timeframe and budget. It was extremely helpful to clarify my vision and receive specific direction on how I could execute it without spending a fortune. She also provided resources as suggestions for some of the items, such as draperies. She provided interim and ideal plans for the various aspects of the project. I have already executed a couple of them, and dream of the rest.Mar 22, 2019Verified
This was a unique project with a tight budget and an even tighter timeline. Alison was amazing to work with. Organized in her budget and followed through with her vision and execution! We are VERY pleased with her work and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a smooth and professional experience.Jun 1, 2016Verified
