- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make sure that we have all of the necessary details about our client’s event and what they want/need from us. This can happen via Thumbtack, email, text or phone call. We are both quick to respond and arrive 30-60 minutes early to the event for introductions, set up, and sound checks. We are easy going and flexible! We want to make sure our clients enjoy what we have to perform, even if they only need us for background music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both grew up singing in choirs, playing musical instruments, and performing! Tandy has a bachelor’s degree in music and Jason grew up learning music (specifically jazz) theory and skills from his professional jazz musician father, as well as jazz training in college.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We both grew up in musical worlds! We were each in different bands before we started dating, and after we got married and moved to Washington we decided to create our own musical duo!
