I had three Yale keypad locks, one installed but flaky, two as replacements for deadbolts. Ivan installed the two, and reset the knob latches so the door would close and latch. But the two new and old had the same flakiness—the magnetic ‘door closed’ sensor was not working. Ivan found that in the back of each door jam a second strike plate had been installed (!?!) and the bolt’s contact with it was disrupting the ‘door closed’ sensor. He drilled down the edge of the second strike plate so the bolt did not contact it, and that solved the problem (on all three). He also removed one door and reset the hinge so the door did not stick. Ivan found and clearly explained cause of issues that were not listed anywhere in the ‘lock troubleshooting’ guide, determined a solution, and he used his skills to implement it. He was creative in using his knowledge so I ended up with the result I wanted. My request was to ‘install two locks’ but what I really wanted were three exterior doors that close easily and latch solidly, each with a keypad door lock that works smoothly. Ivan delivered. I highly recommend him!

We had an excellent experience! He arrived right on time, started early, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. He fixed our door, repaired and stained our fence, and installed a new gate lock — all at a very reasonable price. Great communicator and a real pro. Highly recommend!

I hired Ivan to convert a hallway clothes closet. The closet only had a clothes rod in it. He added shelving as well as two rods for jackets. He did an outstanding job. He is friendly, professional, and very skilled. He left my house very clean. I will be hiring him in the future. 100 percent recommended!!
