FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the time, preparation, and post-production work that go into each session or wedding — not just the hours spent photographing. Wedding coverage is structured hourly to allow flexibility while maintaining consistent quality and attention throughout the day. Portrait sessions are priced as streamlined experiences with clear deliverables. Travel within the Vancouver/Portland area is included. Locations beyond 30 miles may include a mileage fee, and weddings requiring overnight travel include a flat accommodation fee to ensure I can deliver the same level of focus and professionalism. All pricing is transparent and discussed clearly before booking — there are no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your initial inquiry, I respond promptly to confirm availability and answer any immediate questions. For weddings, I offer a brief consultation to understand your vision, timeline, and priorities. Once booked, I provide guidance on timeline structure, location suggestions (if needed), and what to expect on the day of your session. On your wedding day or session day, I guide gently so you feel natural and present — never overly posed or rushed. Afterward, your images are carefully edited and delivered through an online gallery for easy viewing and downloading. My goal is to make the entire process seamless, calm, and well-organized from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 7 years in business and dozens of weddings photographed, my experience has been built through real-world wedding and portrait work. I’ve continually refined my craft through hands-on experience, professional workshops, and ongoing study in lighting, composition, and storytelling. Just as important as technical skill is understanding timeline management, lighting changes throughout the day, and how to guide clients naturally — all of which come from consistent professional experience.
