FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing & Service Tiers We may not be the lowest-cost option for small projects. Our focus is providing an efficient, professional service that delivers durable, high-quality results. To keep things clear and avoid back-and-forth, we work within defined service tiers based on scope and complexity. Most clients can quickly identify the tier that best fits their project. ⸻ Tier 1 — Quick Service Starting at $250 For very small, clearly defined tasks with straightforward access. Common examples: • Minor adjustments or hardware fixes • Single-item repairs • Small punch-list items • Quick carpentry corrections Limited scope and availability. Generally reserved for repeat clients ⸻ Tier 2 — General Maintenance Starting at $350 Designed for routine maintenance and small repair work. Common examples: • Replacing a few deck boards or trim pieces • Door and window adjustments • Minor rot repair • Fence or gate repairs • Small carpentry tasks Typically includes up to 2 hours of labor. Materials additional. ⸻ Tier 3 — Structural & Framing Service Starting at $550 This tier is intended for single, localized structural or framing-related issues where the scope is clearly defined and contained. Common examples: • One post or column repair • One localized framing correction • Single header or beam reinforcement • Structural adjustment affecting a single door or window opening This tier assumes one primary issue, limited materials, and standard site access. ⸻ Tier 4 — Extended Structural / Multi-Task Service Starting at $750 This tier applies when work involves multiple items, expanded scope, or extended on-site time, even if each individual item appears minor on its own. Common examples: • Two or more structural or framing-related repairs • Structural work combined with adjacent carpentry or maintenance • Multiple problem areas addressed in a single visit • Projects where efficiency comes from bundling several items together This tier is designed for clients who want multiple issues handled properly in one mobilization, rather than split across multiple visits. ⸻ Tier 5 — Priority Service Block Starting at $1,000 Ideal for clients who want multiple items handled efficiently in one visit. Common examples: • Large punch lists • Bundled maintenance and structural items • Pre-sale or pre-inspection repair lists • Property maintenance catch-ups ⸻ Larger or Multi-Scope Projects For remodels, rebuilds, or projects involving multiple trades or extended timelines, we provide a formal written estimate based on scope and materials. ⸻ Additional Notes • We do not self-perform plumbing or electrical work. These scopes can be coordinated through Ripple-selected licensed subcontractors as part of a larger project. • Final pricing depends on site conditions, access, materials, and scope clarity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to meet new clients in person to discuss new builds and ideas. Depending on the scope of the project, this may lead to a formal bid and budgeting process. For smaller repair projects, we can often complete them the same or next day for our flat rates, if provided enough information through thumbtack.
