- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing & Project Estimates Visit our website for instant ballpark quote ranges before scheduling a walkthrough. Describe your project and select the options that fit, including whether you’ll supply materials. Our service minimum is $550, with that minimum waived for returning clients. This is a starting price, not a flat rate or fixed block of labor. Each project is priced according to scope, materials, access, and site conditions. We focus on carpentry, framing, structural repairs, decks, doors, windows, and skilled home repairs. Have several items to tackle? Send us the full list so we can quote them together and make the most of your visit. For the quickest response, send: • A brief project description • Clear photos and approximate measurements • Your project location • Whether you plan to supply materials Larger projects receive a written estimate outlining the work and what’s included. Website ranges are preliminary and do not replace a confirmed estimate. Materials are included only when specified in your estimate. If we uncover hidden damage or you request additional work, we’ll explain any price changes and get your approval before proceeding with that additional work. We do not self-perform plumbing or electrical work. These services can be coordinated through licensed subcontractors as part of a larger project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to meet new clients in person to discuss new builds and ideas. Depending on the scope of the project, this may lead to a formal bid and budgeting process. For smaller repair projects, we can often complete them the same or next day for our flat rates, if provided enough information through thumbtack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owners bring a combined 27 years of experience as union tradesmen, specializing in both commercial steel erection and residential framing. Over the years, we’ve encountered a wide range of challenges and just as many solutions giving us the insight and adaptability to handle complex projects with confidence.
