Sent an inquiry about possibly hiring her to walk my dogs 1-2x/week for 8-10 weeks as I'd just had major surgery. She sent me a nasty gram when I told her I'd hired someone else.Oct 22, 2016VerifiedVivian Nascimento's reply
Since every story has 2 sides: it does not have anything to do of being hired or not, but wait for a reply. I waited more than 2 days for his response and I replied back. When he sent me a reply I couldn't answer right away. It took me a few hours to reply, but he did not even wait for that and moved on, but even after 48 hours I replied to him. By the way, I never sent a nasty text back. Simply said that he could've waited for my reply and I'd gotten back to him as well as I waited (so long) for his.
I am 110% satisfied with Vivians care of my pets while I was on vacation! She was courteous, punctual, reliable, obviously knowledgeable and just a real sweetheart! My pups and I liked her immediately! She even got my "shy" dog to actually leave the yard and go for a walk! I haven't been able to get her to willingly do that! Thank you, Vivian! She sent me periodic status updates and pictures! When I got home she took time to "educate" me on some techniques for continuing the training she had done with my shy dog and she will be coming back for further training sessions! I am grateful I found Vivian and will highly recommend her to friends and family! Thank you Vivian from me and Autumn, and Summer, and Dinah!Oct 15, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The more I know about your pet, the better especially if they have any medications and food allergies. Knowing their daily routine is always a plus as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Animal Behavior Specialization. I had a dog that I took care for many years and I know basic care for cats. I have been a dog wrangler which involves supervising and correcting up to 30 dogs at the same time. Also I volunteer for an animal shelter. As for wild animals, my responsibilities included preparing food and feeding, cleaning and monitoring their behavior.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always enjoyed being with animals since I was a kid. I knew that I wanted to choose something related to animals career wise and I did. Besides, animal's behavior has always intrigued me. Why have they done this or that? I believe that they do not just act instinctively. Also it is always rewarding to help dogs with behavioral issues.
