- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When you are a buyer your representation is paid for by the seller and you do not have to pay for me to represent you at all. When we list your property my brokerage will charge between 2.5 and 3.5% for the services that my team and I provide you and you can decide what to offer the Buyer's brokerage. ( I will have suggestions tailored to your home, circumstances and the market.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we speak on the phone and I get some basic information. If you are looking for representation as a home buyer, and that phone meeting goes well for both of us, then we meet for your complimentary Home Buyer Consultation. You learn much at that appointment, whether you are buying for the first time or 5th time. I learn much as well about what the best way to serve you is and your needs as well as what other resources would be good to connect you with. As a home buyer, we get started soon after with home shopping if we are a good fit for each other. As a home seller the process is similar. We speak on the phone first, then I come and view your home and either at that time or at a second appointment we do a listing consultation. We both learn much at the consultation. If it looks like working together is a good fit then we make a plan of action at that appointment and get started according to that plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Negotiations Expert ( CNE) This means I have in depth training that helps you have an edge in negotiations. It also means much of the stress in the transaction is avoided since we have a negotiation plan in place before we are actually negotiating. In addition to well over a decade in Real Estate, I also have another decade of experience in sales and marketing and sales training. I have been involved in an ongoing public speaking school since I was a child. I have a comprehensive knowledge of Tacoma and the greater Tacoma Area. I am a Managing Broker. I have been through all of the Keller Williams University Buyer's Broker training as well as Listing Broker Training and marketing courses.
