FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For pricing- I charge $60 per hour of productive work and a $50 fee for going to the store for materials. I am flexible on pricing for larger projects over 8 hours and I always will put in a little extra time when needed to round out some numbers or make it worth Your money and keep all of My interactions positive. I only charge for hours that I am getting productive work accomplished, I do not charge for down time, and if there ever is a mistake that would take up time, there is no charge for correcting it. I am very serious about being fair with hourly charges, it's just as I want to be treated. This affects everybody.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin every job with a new customer by- Simply outlining the the job description and pricing through Thumbtack, then communicating the details and scheduling , and finally meeting on site to review the job before I begin work. Payment is expected upon completion unless otherwise agreed upon, and forms of payment accepted are cash, check, or Venmo.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My credentials could be stated as- Experience with various companies working in different fields of construction such as carpentry, metal fabrication. I have also been a Motorcycle technician from age 18-21. These things all help to make My skills more well rounded and effective. Experience in most of My past work situations has been as effective as schooling or training in providing Me the skills I need because of My self- learning methods, and tendency to consult other professionals. If there is ever something I don't know, I am very used to taking My time to review the different information on that topic, so I know which choice is best in that situation. The work I get on Thumbtack these days is all well within My comfort zone, so I can guarantee My work.
