- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nutrition counseling/coaching. Initial quote is for one time consultation. I have packages of time that can be purchased at a discount. For instance a package of 4 follow up visits cost $350 or a savings of $50 Cooking classes $90 for individual or cooking classes.Hands on cooking. $170 for two students. Hands on cooking. $45-65/ each for observation and small tastes group classes. Ask about series of classes discount. Private yoga with meditation classes $65/ each Small group up to 4 $30/each
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Nutrition counseling/couching My process begins with knowing that nutrition effects you as a whole person: culture, genetics, time, food preferences and food preparation experience, possible spiritual/religious values, and health status. I take time to understand your style of learning, how you take in information and ways that are meaningful for you to utilize that information. We generally start with a food and lifestyle assessment. Then based on your goals make a food plan to implement changes for your success. I cover nutrition and diet; meal planning and grocery shopping including label reading; recipes and cooking guidance. Cooking We make the dishes you want to make. I can make some suggestions that will include the techniques you want to learn.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nutrition counseling/coaching * I have a bachelor's degree and master's degree in nutritional sciences. My schooling included food science and a year of food preparation. My students and I enjoy cooking and eating together! Cooking *I have been cooking for more than 55 years, have years of taking cooking classes and have taught hundreds of people to cook! Breastfeeding support * I am a lactation consultant and have IBCLE credentials. I breastfed 3 children and lovingly worked with families to reach their infant feeding goals- breast or bottle. Yoga *I am a certified yoga teacher and teach meditation and relaxation with yoga.
