FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing for lessons has been set in a reasonable range in order to make the knowledge of the priceless gift of Singing available to as many who want to develop their Voice and Repertoire as possible: 30 minute lessons are $35.00; 45 minute lessons are $45.00; 60 minute lessons are $60.00; 90 minute lessons are $74.77; and 120 minute lessons are $103.77. Lessons are given in my Studio, or via Skype.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the person's aims and goals, and then work toward preparing them to be able to meet those hopes and dreams. We begin to explore how the Voice works, and right away begin to use that newfound knowledge to bring out the rich, full, natural tones of a Voice that is released with ease, and almost always, with "surprise", when their Voice comes out with that longed-for strength, beauty, and dramatically increased range and power....which normally happens in the first lesson, and then grows from there!!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a B.A. degree in Music Performance from Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts, and have studied extensively with private voice coaches, including Maestro Silvio Coscia of the Metropolitan Opera and author of two encyclopedic works on the Voice (which I was privileged to edit), and the singing techniques of the great singers at the Met during his 37 years there.
