- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my price on project description (carpenter, electrical, plumbing and risk) , estimated time to complete and location. There may be other variables not forseen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After customer and I have come to an agreement then we set a schedule that works for both of us. I give an estimated time to complete project. The day before and on the day of scheduled work I will make a call prior to arrival as a courteously. I will meet and greet the customer at a previous scheduled time. I will then discuss project again with customer. I will inform customer the estimated time to complete project and give updates during the work on how things are progressing. I will also prep myself with personal protective equipment and equipment to protect their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with learning wood shop, safety and power tools in the middle school period. I continued more shop classes in high school. I attended an Regional Occupational Program for carpentry construction and completed the full year. I also attended a Junior College and study engineering (3yrs). I also worked with company building/installing second floors in industrial and commercial spaces. The second floors consisted on wide range of uses. One use would be for storage where I installed railing, shelving, stairways, mid-landings. Another use was for office space, I built offices with walls, ceiling, lights, installed electrical panels, installed flooring, stairways, etc... The list goes on for the uses of second floor.
