I absolutely love posting positive reviews on a company that we use. I honestly think more positive reviews should be posted especially when the work is done above and beyond your expectations when if something goes wrong people are quick to post negative reviews. I can normally tell if an appointment will go well depending on if the vendor is on time, well mannered and very responsive to my questions and needs. After my first meeting with this company on a late night after working hours because it a last minute call anyway due to previous vendors either being non responsive or flaky Jays Flooring showed up on time. He showed me his selection of carpets which he had many to choose from and we went over his pricing which was competitive as well. Once we agreed upon all the terms, he showed on time to our property and his crew was effective and efficient when removing the existing carpet/padding and installing the new and was done within 4 hours. They didn't leave a mess anywhere. They cleaned up when they were done and took all their trash with them. I was very impressed with their workmanship and how fast they got their work done. I have used them again on that same property and will continue to use their services. I do highly recommend this company and will continue to give him additional business in the future. I learned about the Jay's Flooring from our next door neighbor. They did carpet work for him twice and he got only positive impressions. So, we hired them to replace old carpet on the 1st floor of our house.Cesar did estimation and gave me very competitive pricing, so we've got a deal same say he visited our house.The team (Saul, Roberto and Walner) did a great job. They arrived at the day and time we scheduled and were able to finish the job for approx. 3.5-4 hrs.We like how guys cared about the house - they thoroughly vacuum cleaned the floor after the job done and took old carpet away. My wife and I, we really satisfied with the result and enjoy with new carpet.Want to say thank you to all of the team members (Cesar, Saul, Roberto, Walner) for their friendly attitude and great quality of the job they done! Definitely would hire them again. Thank you guys! Wish your business to bloom.

They were very responsive on initial contact and arrived on time when scheduled. They had to remove carpet, tile and hardwood then install LVP on concrete. We expected a bit of a mess but wow, they were really messy! No vacuum but a broom that just pushed the dust into the air and all over everything. In addition: a closet door was not reattached, a major coffee spill on one wall, many many dings and scratches on almost all the walls, a chip out of one kitchen cabinet, debris in the bathroom ceiling and now a recently found bathtub scratch.Even worse is the fact they had to come back and pull about 30% of the flooring up due to it not sitting on the concrete. They actually had to pull up the living room twice and lay it 3 times! After the 3rd time we realized they did not know how to level the concrete floor. They put some cement down, waited for it to dry, put the floor down and hoped it was correct. No leveling tool and the installer couldn't tell me the correct way to level the floor. They needed to use all the extra planks since they broke so many pulling the original install up. Realizing they didn't know how to do the job properly, we basically had them finishing laying the rest of the floor and leave. The floor still has places where you feel it give with a cracking sound when walked on. We're still trying to fix this disaster. The owner seemed more interested in just getting some payment and not the fact we were not happy.

Jay is a very personable guy....However, he doesn't actually do the work. He subs the jobs out to guys in a old white van (the van leaks oil) and I believe they are from Mexico or somewhere in Central America...They don't speak English. The problem is that you are subject to whatever job you get....there is really no one checking to see if the job is done correctly. The installers seemed to run out of trim materials...and reused old metal trim parts that made the job look extra tacky. Jay never checked back to see if we were pleased with the job, and we never even received a receipt after the work was done. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you are willing to accept a sub-par job. Also, if you have a complaint remember that he doesn't issue a receipt....so that could be a problem.

Jay is super professional and did a phenomenal job! He came out to a home I was listing to sell within days of my calling to get a flooring quote. He had the entire job quoted, scheduled, and finished within 4 days I believe and it looks amazing! Since then I have referred him out to more clients and colleagues after seeing what he can do. Hes my go to carpet and flooring man from here on out!
